Katherine Dudley is an award-winning filmmaker from New Jersey. She served five years in the New Jersey Air National Guard. Then she moved to North Carolina and earned a Bachelor's Degree in TV Broadcasting (1999) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), Master's Degree in Trade & Industrial Education (2005) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Master's Degree in School Administration (2008) from UNCP, and recently in Florida a Master's of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production (2016) from Full Sail University. While at Full Sail University, Katherine was Salutatorian of her class, received the Advanced Achievement Award, Perfect Attendance, and three Course Director Awards. Katherine is the writer and director of a Bronze Telly Award-winning short documentary, The Perfect Selfie. The film also won Best Film at the Enzian FilmSlam festival and has been selected for several other festivals. She is also the writer, director, and editor of an award-winning short comedy, The Bet. After graduation Katherine worked on the set of First Kill with director Steven C Miller. Katherine was the assistant to Bruce Willis and Hayden Christensen. When a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall, three middle school friends who think they've outgrown trick or treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night.
